Job Summary
A Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Nurse is needed in Tallahassee. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a Level 2 Trauma facility that is a designated comprehensive stroke center and chest pain center. The role is focused on supporting cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures within a teaching hospital environment.
Job Details
- Shift Time: Days
- Shift Hours: 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Qualifications: Florida or compact license, BLS, ACLS, and Moderate Sedation Certification (less than 1 year old), with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, including in a Cath Lab setting.
- Certification Requirements: Valid state license, BLS, ACLS, Moderate Sedation Certification
- Responsibilities include assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures and ensuring patient safety and care in a fast-paced hospital setting.
- Additional Information: Professional staff will attend EPIC training during orientation, with testing opportunities to exempt full training.
