Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, hard-working, and team-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) with trauma and telemetry experience to join a collaborative inpatient care team in Asheville, NC. Job Details
- Position: Travel Trauma Registered Nurse (Trauma Telemetry RN)
- Location: Asheville, North Carolina
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule Notes: Weekend coverage is required based on unit scheduling needs
- Setting: Inpatient trauma telemetry unit
- Environment: Fast-paced, team-focused, and highly collaborative
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience required
- BLS certification required
- Telemetry experience required
- Strong communication, time management, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a busy acute care environment
- Preferred: Charge nurse experience, leadership experience, or BSN
- Preferred: CMSRN certification
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to trauma and telemetry patients
- Monitor patient status, interpret telemetry data, and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing colleagues, and ancillary teams to support safe, effective patient care
- Prepare patients for procedures and coordinate care transitions as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
- Support a culture of teamwork, compassion, and patient-centered service
- Float to comparable med-surg areas as needed based on unit needs
