Job Details

• Position: Travel Trauma Registered Nurse (Trauma Telemetry RN)
• Location: Asheville, North Carolina
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule Notes: Weekend coverage is required based on unit scheduling needs
• Setting: Inpatient trauma telemetry unit
• Environment: Fast-paced, team-focused, and highly collaborative

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• Telemetry experience required
• Strong communication, time management, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a busy acute care environment
• Preferred: Charge nurse experience, leadership experience, or BSN
• Preferred: CMSRN certification

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to trauma and telemetry patients
• Monitor patient status, interpret telemetry data, and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing colleagues, and ancillary teams to support safe, effective patient care
• Prepare patients for procedures and coordinate care transitions as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
• Support a culture of teamwork, compassion, and patient-centered service
• Float to comparable med-surg areas as needed based on unit needs
