• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
• On-Call Coverage: Weekend call required; approximately 12 days of call coverage
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,500 - $2,630
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• Patient Population: Adult
• Environment: Cardiac cath lab with IR float responsibilities and collaborative coverage across related procedures
• Technology/Equipment: Cerner EHR, GE fluoroscopy
• Location: Sierra Vista, Arizona

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 2 years of Cath Lab RN or interventional cardiology experience
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Comfort supporting occasional IR procedures and floating to Interventional Radiology as needed
• Ability to work effectively as a strong team player in a fast-paced procedural setting
• Experience with or exposure to advanced cardiovascular support tools such as IVUS, FFR, IVL, Impella, and IABP preferred
• Experience in a pre/post procedural unit preferred
• Willingness to support on-call needs and weekend coverage
• Basic proficiency with electronic charting systems such as Cerner is helpful

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Assist the care team with preparation, monitoring, and recovery of adult patients
• Support occasional IR procedures, including vascular interventions and related patient care
• Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and procedural staff to maintain efficient workflow
• Help ensure readiness of equipment, supplies, and procedure rooms
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record
• Participate in on-call coverage and respond to urgent procedural needs as scheduled
• Contribute to a positive, patient-centered environment focused on safety, quality outcomes, and teamwork
