Job Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of current orthopedic RN or medical-surgical experience in a hospital setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Orthopedic and spine experience preferred
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Energetic, empathetic, and adaptable approach to patient care
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to orthopedic and neuro patients
- Monitor patients recovering from total joint procedures and spine surgery
- Support patients using immobilizers, braces, and cold therapy equipment
- Collaborate with charge nurses, techs, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient assessments in the EMR
- Deliver safe, compassionate care while supporting efficient unit workflow
- Contribute to a positive, professional, and patient-centered environment
