- Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
- Schedule: Variable start time between 0600-0700, Monday through Friday
- Weekends/Holidays/Call: No weekends, holidays, or call
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,750–$1,840

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of nursing experience required
- Experience in outpatient nursing, perioperative nursing, PACU, or procedural nursing preferred
- Strong assessment skills and the ability to respond to changing patient needs
- Comfort with IV therapy, clinical documentation, and transcribing provider orders accurately
- Working knowledge of diagnostic measures such as labs, radiology, and EKG
- Excellent communication, organization, and patient education skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented surgical environment
Responsibilities
- Assess patient physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs and act as a patient advocate
- Implement nursing care plans and respond appropriately to identified patient problems
- Communicate patient assessments to the appropriate care team members to support coordinated care
- Prepare patients for surgical procedures, including record review, site verification, and completion of required documentation
- Document accurately and promptly in the patient clinical record
- Provide patient and family education before and after procedures
- Support PACU needs by monitoring vital signs, managing airway support, assisting with pain control, and following discharge criteria
- Assist with patient transfers and maintain efficient patient flow throughout the unit
- Help with float coverage, staff breaks, and maintaining a smooth workflow across areas
- Assist in procedural areas as assigned, including pain management and eye laser rooms
- Maintain familiarity with anesthesia supplies, nerve block support, crash cart location, and emergency medications
- Participate in committee meetings, contribute ideas for improvement, and support unit goals
