Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• At least 1 year of recent CVOR, cardiovascular surgery, operating room, or related perioperative nursing experience
• Strong moderate sedation skill set
• Ability to work in a fast-paced cardiovascular procedural environment
• Comfort with on-call responsibilities and a flexible travel nursing schedule
• Completion of required onboarding and compliance documentation
• Skills checklist and recent professional references

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in the cardiovascular operating room and procedural setting
• Support moderate sedation procedures with patient safety and comfort as a top priority
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiology, and the perioperative team to deliver high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established unit protocols
• Assist with pre-procedure preparation, intra-procedure support, and post-procedure patient monitoring as needed
• Participate in on-call coverage and respond to emergent cardiovascular surgical needs
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment focused on excellent patient outcomes
