• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 - $2,370

• Charting: Cerner preferred
• Patient Ratio: 6 on days, nights, and weekends

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Previous charge nurse experience required
• NRP, STABLE, AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS, and BLS certifications required
• Experience with Cerner preferred
• Strong skills in fetal monitoring, obstetric triage, and maternal-newborn care
• Ability to work night shifts and a rotating weekend schedule
• Travel nursing experience required for success in this role

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to laboring and postpartum patients
• Monitor fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in maternal or fetal condition
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and recovery care
• Support antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients with confidence and professionalism
• Perform triage, patient assessments, and ongoing labor management
• Administer medications and interventions in accordance with obstetric best practices
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, and the care team to deliver excellent outcomes
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record and maintain a safe, organized unit workflow
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families throughout the birth experience
