• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,070 - $2,180
• Schedule Notes: Weekend and holiday rotations based on operational need; floating to other units may be required
• Orientation: 20 hours

Job Requirements

• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license
• BLS certification from AHA required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience within the last 3 years
• Epic charting experience required
• Telemetry nurse experience required; ability to pass a telemetry exam prior to start
• Strong Med/Surg and MS/Tele clinical skills in an inpatient acute care setting
• Experience caring for adult patients with medical-surgical and telemetry needs
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based, fast-paced healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to adult Med/Surg and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and support common medical-surgical interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, therapy services, pharmacy, phlebotomy, and other interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Care for patients with a variety of diagnoses, including respiratory conditions, heart failure, diabetes, infection, post-operative recovery, and more
• Support safe, evidence-based care for select intermediate-level patients as assigned
• Float to other units as needed based on facility needs
• Contribute to quality improvement efforts and uphold a culture of teamwork, respect, and clinical excellence
