• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Schedule: Weekend and holiday rotations as needed
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 10/26/2026
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,070 - $2,180
• Orientation: 20 hours
• Patient Ratio: 5:1 days, 6:1 nights, 6:1 weekends
• Float: Required as needed to other units
• Parking: Free onsite parking

Job Requirements

• 2 years of acute care RN experience within the last 3 years in a Med/Surg Telemetry or similar specialty
• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Epic experience required
• Ability to pass a telemetry exam prior to start
• Experience caring for adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and teamwork mindset
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-acuity inpatient environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to adult med/surg telemetry patients
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and complete ongoing patient assessments
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, pharmacy, and other interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Support care planning, documentation, and patient education using Epic
• Care for patients with a variety of medical and post-surgical diagnoses
• Float to other inpatient units as needed based on facility demand
• Contribute to a professional, collaborative, and patient-focused care environment
