• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Schedule Notes: 3 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Start Date: 12/14/2026
• Float Areas: Other telemetry departments, med-surg, and PCU
• EMR: Meditech

Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Recent telemetry nursing, cardiac nursing, or acute care nursing experience preferred
• ACLS certification required
• Experience with post-cath recovery, pacemaker placements, stroke patients, amiodarone drips, and Cardizem drips
• NIH Stroke Scale certification or experience preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a collaborative clinical setting

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to telemetry patients with cardiac and neurological needs
• Monitor patient status closely and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies according to best nursing practices
• Care for post-cath patients, pacemaker patients, and patients receiving cardiac drips
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and support staff to promote efficient patient flow
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR
• Support a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and excellent patient care
