We are seeking a dedicated Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Independence, Missouri. Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• At least 1 year of recent nursing experience in telemetry, med-surg, or a similar acute care setting
• Strong advanced assessment and critical thinking skills
• Experience managing vasoactive drips
• Comfort working with Meditech or similar electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Positive attitude and a strong team-first mindset

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and high-quality telemetry nursing care in an acute care setting
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Care for patients with BiPAP, heated high-flow nasal cannulas, IV pumps, and feeding pumps
• Perform bedside shift report, hourly rounding, and daily leadership rounds
• Support procedures such as central line or PICC line placement as appropriate
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to maintain excellent patient outcomes
• Follow unit standards, safety protocols, and documentation best practices
• Contribute to a positive, efficient, and supportive hospital work environment
