• Assignment Length: 20 weeks
• Start Date: 09/28/2026
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holidays: Required as scheduled
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,920 - $2,020
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Unit Style: High-volume, fast-paced boarder care environment for Med/Surg Tele overflow

Job Requirements

• Active Maryland RN license or compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry, telemetry, or similar acute care nursing experience
• Epic charting experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• CPI certification required
• ACLS preferred
• Must pass Tele competency exam
• Comfortable working in a high-acuity, high-turnover hospital environment
• Must be willing to float within specialty scope as needed
• Flu vaccination required

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care as a Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse for adult and geriatric patients
• Monitor telemetry, assess changes in condition, and escalate concerns promptly
• Manage a variety of diagnoses in a busy ED boarder and Med/Surg overflow environment
• Perform nursing interventions including IV therapy, wound care, and cardiac monitoring support
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to support timely patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow unit protocols and standards
• Support patient flow and assist with safe transitions of care
• Float within the specialty as needed while maintaining scope of practice
