• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Varied / rotating; day and evening shifts
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,200 - $2,320
• On-Call Rotation: Once per week and every fifth weekend
• Start Date: October 5, 2026

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Vermont or eligibility to obtain before start date
• At least 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience required
• Strong circulating nurse skills in a surgical setting
• Ability to work rotating day and evening shifts
• Comfortable with on-call coverage, including weekends as assigned
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
• Experience in thoracic surgery or pediatric operating room settings is a plus

Responsibilities

• Circulate in the operating room and support surgical procedures from start to finish
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and sterile surgical environment
• Prepare the room, verify equipment, and ensure supplies are ready for procedures
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative team members
• Monitor patient status throughout the surgical experience and document care accurately
• Respond to on-call needs as scheduled, including weekends
