Job Summary
Operating Room Nurse in the specialty of Surgery, located at an undefined facility. This role involves providing high-quality perioperative patient care, supporting surgical procedures, and maintaining safety standards within the operating room environment.

Job Details

• Position Description: Backfill assignment starting on 09/28/2026 for an estimated 16-26 weeks.
• Specialty: Operating Room.
• Shift Details: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, minimum of 2 years experience, strong skills in ortho and eye service lines, familiarity with Epic electronic medical record systems from within the past 2 years.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in scrub role highly preferred; strong circulating skills acceptable.
• Schedule: Monday to Sunday; candidates must be flexible with schedule, including working 2 out of 4 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Years Day), and must meet call requirements (twice weekly, every 3-5 weekends as needed).
• Additional Information:
  • All work history details (bed count, EMR details, facility type) must be complete for submission.
  • Candidates must have reliable transportation, personal vehicle or rental vehicle strongly recommended, with all-season or snow tires during November through April.
  • No block schedules are permitted for any reason.
  • Bi-weekly orientations are scheduled, with the next session on 10/12.
  • Employment gaps over 90 days must be explained.
