Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • At least 2 years of experience in an ASU/PACU or Critical Care setting
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required
  • PALS certification required
  • Strong post-anesthesia recovery, patient monitoring, and assessment skills
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and participate in weekend call rotation

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality PACU nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery
  • Monitor vital signs, pain levels, airway status, and overall patient stability during recovery
  • Assess patients for post-operative complications and communicate concerns to the care team as needed
  • Administer medications and support safe, timely patient discharge readiness
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment
