• Shift Pattern: Every other weekend required; holiday support expected

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Documentation System: Cerner EMR
• Unit Setting: 10-bed ICU/PCU overflow unit
• Floating: May be required to float

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required; critical care, PCU, or step-down experience strongly preferred
• Medical ICU experience in a large facility preferred
• Comfort with hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work collaboratively on a fast-paced healthcare team
• Advanced skills in critical care pharmacology, including IV sedation, paralytics, and vasopressors, preferred
• Ability to manage central lines and support complex patient care needs
• Current BLS and ACLS required
• Ability to wear navy blue or white scrubs

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to ICU/PCU overflow patients with varying levels of acuity
• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Manage ventilated patients and support respiratory and critical care interventions
• Administer and titrate critical care medications, including sedation, paralytics, and vasopressors
• Assist providers with bedside procedures such as chest tube insertion and intubations
• Collaborate with the charge nurse and care team to maintain safe staffing and patient flow
• Perform bedside shift report and support nurse leader rounding as part of unit expectations
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining strong teamwork and professionalism
