• Position: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
• Location: Atlanta, GA 30342
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Start Date: 9/28/2026
• End Date: 12/19/2026
• Assignment Length: 12 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour days, typically 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,480 - $1,560
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Holiday Expectations: Must work 2 major holidays and 1 minor holiday during the assignment

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current AHA BLS certification
• NRP certification required
• AWHONN certification required
• Experience with Cerner preferred
• Strong clinical skills in obstetric nursing, maternal assessment, and fetal monitoring
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, patient-focused healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality care to laboring, postpartum, and high-risk obstetric patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Support patients experiencing pregnancy-related complications such as preeclampsia, diabetes, and preterm labor
• Collaborate closely with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary team members to promote positive outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record
• Deliver compassionate education and support to patients and families throughout the care experience
• Maintain a professional, flexible approach in a busy Labor & Delivery setting
