Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required
• ACLS and BLS required
• Strong experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
• Ability to interpret ABGs and safely titrate vasoactive drips
• Experience with critical care equipment and complex patient management
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-acuity critical care environment
• Flexibility to float to ED or step-down as needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a 29-bed ICU
• Monitor and manage patients with complex respiratory and hemodynamic needs
• Perform and support critical care procedures including intubations, central line placement, bronchoscopy assistance, and bedside trach/PEG placement
• Titrate vasoactive drips and manage advanced therapies such as CRRT, Impella, IABP, and ECMO as indicated
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and the interdisciplinary care team to support optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record
• Adapt quickly to unit needs and float appropriately when required
• Maintain a professional, team-oriented presence while delivering compassionate critical care
