• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,870 - $1,970
• Start Date: September 28, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Primarily 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
• Schedule: 5 shifts per week; may consider 4 x 10-hour shifts if department staffing allows
• Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• On-Call: Call coverage included with rotation; approximately 5 call shifts with one weekend and one weekday evening coverage
• Setting: Operating Room / Perioperative Services
• EMR: Meditech

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• At least 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Experience with Meditech preferred
• Prior experience in a similar surgical or perioperative setting preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills
• Positive attitude with a proactive and efficient workflow

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care in the operating room across a variety of surgical cases
• Support procedures including orthopedic, general, colorectal, urological, and gynecological surgery
• Assist with robotic, laparoscopic, and open surgical cases
• Pull and prepare case carts as needed
• Coordinate family updates by phone or secure messaging when appropriate
• Provide lunch and break relief for the surgical team
• Act as a second nurse or support for after-hours recovery coverage
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care
