Job Details

• Location: Cambridge, MA 02138
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Weekly Schedule: 48 hours per week
• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: 2 holidays required if working through winter holidays
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470 - $2,600
• Start Date: October 5, 2026
• Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Float Requirement: Expected to float between ICU and IMCU
• Orientation: Weekly orientation available
• Scrubs: Any color scrubs accepted

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar critical care or ICU setting
• EPIC experience required
• BLS certification from AHA required
• ACLS certification from AHA required
• Must have CT surgery experience
• Experience with IABP and IMPELLA devices required
• Must be able to work night shifts and participate in weekend rotation
• Candidates must have been separated from the referenced health system for 6+ months to be considered

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes in status
• Manage complex care needs for patients with cardiothoracic and critical care conditions
• Provide bedside support for patients requiring IABP and IMPELLA management
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care team members to coordinate treatment plans
• Float between ICU and IMCU as needed based on patient care needs
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established protocols
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment focused on patient safety and excellent outcomes
