Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Washington state or compact licensure eligibility
- Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU nursing or critical care experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Ability to provide proof of right to work in the United States
- Strong clinical judgment and comfort caring for high-acuity and critically ill patients
- Experience with hemodynamic monitoring, IV therapy, ventilator management, and critical care protocols preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, individualized nursing care to critically ill ICU patients
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and update patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to nursing standards
- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, ventilators, and other specialized critical care equipment
- Assess patient condition, document findings, and respond promptly to changes in status
- Support diagnostic testing, specimen collection, and bedside procedures as needed
- Provide patient and family education related to treatment plans, recovery, and discharge needs
- Respond effectively to urgent and life-saving situations in accordance with ICU protocols and best practices
