• Schedule Notes: 4-week schedules with 3-4 weekend shifts required per scheduling period
• Float Expectation: Float as needed based on unit census and staffing needs

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent ICU experience or strong critical care experience required
• Cardiac critical care experience required
• BLS and ACLS required
• Experience with PA catheter monitoring and hemodynamic monitoring preferred
• Experience with IABP preferred
• Experience with Impella preferred
• CRRT experience preferred
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity ICU environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care for critically ill cardiac and ICU patients
• Monitor complex hemodynamic status and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Assist with advanced procedures, including central line insertion, Swan insertion, and intubations
• Provide care for patients requiring advanced support such as IABP and Impella
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapy, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Document accurately in the Meditech EMR system
• Support safe patient flow, including floating when needed based on census
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture focused on excellent patient outcomes
