• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403 — a scenic destination known for outdoor recreation, beautiful lake and mountain views, and convenient access to nearby major cities.
• Start Date: 10/5/2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts
• Shift Length: 12 hours
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800-$1,890
• Setting: Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Float Requirement: May float to IMC and ED as needed
• Patient Population: Adult and geriatric med-surg and telemetry patients

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care RN experience
• Active Registered Nurse license
• ACLS certification required
• Telemetry nursing experience required
• Ability to manage a 1:6 patient ratio with confidence and efficiency
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to care plans
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to support patient progress
• Assess, document, and communicate patient status throughout the shift
• Care for patients with conditions such as CHF, CKD, alcohol withdrawal, SIRS, and GI bleeding
• Support recovery for patients following total joint and other surgical procedures
• Float to related units as needed while maintaining a flexible, professional approach
• Contribute to a positive, patient-centered, and team-oriented environment
