Overview
This 13-week Med/Surg Tele RN travel assignment is ideal for an experienced acute care nurse who thrives in a dynamic clinical setting and values teamwork, critical thinking, and professional growth. You’ll work 12-hour night shifts with weekend and holiday rotation based on operational need, plus floating as needed.

- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
- Orientation: 20 hours
- Weekend/Holiday Coverage: Based on operational need
- Floating: Required as needed to other units
- Parking: Free onsite parking
Job Requirements
- Active Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license
- BLS certification through AHA required
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years
- Epic charting experience required
- Telemetry exam required prior to start
- Experience with medical-surgical and telemetry patients preferred
- Ability to work night shift RN schedules and float as needed
- Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, patient-centered care to adult and geriatric medical-surgical patients
- Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, manage drips, and support treatments including insulin, heparin, and PCA therapy
- Perform focused assessments, ongoing reassessments, and timely documentation in Epic
- Collaborate with physicians, therapy teams, pharmacy, phlebotomy, and rapid response resources
- Support a broad range of inpatient diagnoses including COPD, heart failure, diabetes, infection, and post-operative recovery
- Assist with wound care, IV management, telemetry monitoring, and other unit-based nursing interventions
- Maintain a professional, adaptable presence in a busy, team-oriented clinical environment
