This 13-week Med/Surg Tele RN travel assignment is ideal for an experienced acute care nurse who thrives in a dynamic clinical setting and values teamwork, critical thinking, and professional growth. You’ll work 12-hour night shifts with weekend and holiday rotation based on operational need, plus floating as needed.

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
• Orientation: 20 hours
• Weekend/Holiday Coverage: Based on operational need
• Floating: Required as needed to other units
• Parking: Free onsite parking

Job Requirements

• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license
• BLS certification through AHA required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years
• Epic charting experience required
• Telemetry exam required prior to start
• Experience with medical-surgical and telemetry patients preferred
• Ability to work night shift RN schedules and float as needed
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, patient-centered care to adult and geriatric medical-surgical patients
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, manage drips, and support treatments including insulin, heparin, and PCA therapy
• Perform focused assessments, ongoing reassessments, and timely documentation in Epic
• Collaborate with physicians, therapy teams, pharmacy, phlebotomy, and rapid response resources
• Support a broad range of inpatient diagnoses including COPD, heart failure, diabetes, infection, and post-operative recovery
• Assist with wound care, IV management, telemetry monitoring, and other unit-based nursing interventions
• Maintain a professional, adaptable presence in a busy, team-oriented clinical environment
