Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• EPIC experience required
• Experience with CT surgery patients required
• Experience with IABP and IMPELLA devices required
• Ability to work rotating day and night shifts, including every other weekend
• Must be able to float between ICU and IMCU as needed
• Must have been separated from the facility system for 6+ months to be considered

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team
• Support patients requiring advanced cardiac and surgical care in a high-acuity setting
• Provide safe, efficient care for patients with mechanical circulatory support devices such as IABP and IMPELLA
• Float between ICU and IMCU based on unit needs
• Document accurately in EPIC and maintain strong clinical communication
• Work assigned holiday coverage when scheduled
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment focused on excellent patient outcomes
