Job Details

• Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with floating to IMCU
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470 - $2,600
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Schedule: Days and nights, every other weekend
• Start Date: October 5, 2026

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar ICU or critical care setting
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system required
• BLS certification from AHA required
• ACLS certification from AHA required
• CT surgery experience required
• Experience with IABP and IMPELLA devices required
• Comfortable with rotating shifts, weekend coverage, and holiday rotation as needed

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor patient status closely and respond to changes in condition with strong clinical judgment
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and the care team to support individualized treatment plans
• Float between ICU and IMCU as needed to meet patient care needs
• Safely care for patients requiring advanced cardiac support devices and critical care interventions
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EPIC
• Contribute to a safe, efficient, and compassionate critical care environment
