• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,920 - $2,020

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent nursing experience required
• Cardiac nursing and post-cardiovascular surgical experience required
• Current CPR certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Strong clinical assessment, telemetry, and patient monitoring skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced acute care environment
• ANCC cardiac certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care for cardiac stepdown patients recovering from surgery and other cardiovascular procedures
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythm, and patient progress throughout the shift
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, high-quality outcomes
• Identify changes in patient condition and respond appropriately in a timely manner
• Educate patients and families on recovery, follow-up care, and discharge readiness
• Maintain accurate documentation and support unit workflow in an acute care setting
