Job Details

• Position: Emergency Department Registered Nurse
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 - $1,540
• Schedule: Weekend availability may be needed; no on-call
• Location: San Antonio, TX 78201

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room RN experience
• Active RN license in good standing
• Required certifications: TNCC, ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Strong clinical skills in emergency nursing, triage, and rapid patient assessment
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment
• Preferred: ultrasound-guided IV experience
• Reliable, friendly, adaptable, and patient-focused with a positive can-do attitude

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a busy Emergency Department setting
• Perform triage, medication administration, splinting, and other essential ER procedures
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and support staff to ensure smooth patient flow
• Utilize emergency department equipment and documentation systems accurately
• Support safe, efficient care in both main ED and fast-track areas as needed
• Maintain a professional, team-focused approach throughout each shift
