Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent emergency department nursing experience required; preferred background includes 1.5+ years in Level I or II ED settings or 2+ years in Level III/IV ED settings
• Current and unexpired BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications
• Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips and identify heart blocks
• Successful completion of a telemetry assessment on day one
• Experience with Epic preferred
• Previous travel nurse experience and critical care experience are a plus
• Must be flexible to float to related emergency care areas as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a busy emergency department with a wide variety of patient needs
• Assess, monitor, and treat patients in a fast-moving acute care environment
• Work collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support safe, efficient patient care
• Manage care for patients with varying acuity levels while maintaining strong clinical judgment and patient safety
• Float to additional emergency care areas when required, including behavioral health and pediatric emergency settings for appropriate patient populations
• Maintain accuracy, professionalism, and adaptability throughout the travel assignment
