- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
- Schedule: Open to 36s or 48s; every other weekend required
- Floating: Required to stepdown and/or med surg as needed
- Call: No call required
- Unit Details: 36-bed unit with ICU and IMC beds
- Patient Ratio: 1:2 or 1:1 depending on acuity
Job Requirements
- Active New York Registered Nurse license required
- BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and rotate weekends
- Comfortable floating to stepdown and med surg when needed
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to ICU patients with varying levels of acuity
- Monitor patient status closely and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical standards
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate patient care
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately
- Support safe, efficient care delivery across ICU, stepdown, and med surg settings as assigned
- Maintain professionalism while working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
