• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Schedule: Open to 36s or 48s; every other weekend required
• Floating: Required to stepdown and/or med surg as needed
• Call: No call required
• Unit Details: 36-bed unit with ICU and IMC beds
• Patient Ratio: 1:2 or 1:1 depending on acuity

Job Requirements

• Active New York Registered Nurse license required
• BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and rotate weekends
• Comfortable floating to stepdown and med surg when needed
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to ICU patients with varying levels of acuity
• Monitor patient status closely and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical standards
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate patient care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately
• Support safe, efficient care delivery across ICU, stepdown, and med surg settings as assigned
• Maintain professionalism while working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
