- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,500-$2,630

Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- At least 1 year of recent experience within the last 5 years in ICU, CVICU, CVPA, ER, SDC, or PACU
- Prior SDC or PACU experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required and maintained
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required and maintained
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required and maintained
- Successful completion of a pharmacology exam
- Successful completion of the basic arrhythmia program or challenge exam
- Demonstrated skill in IV starts, hemodynamic monitoring, and ventilator care
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- BSN preferred
PACU RN Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality post-anesthesia nursing care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Monitor patient responses to medications, anesthesia recovery, and clinical interventions
- Document comprehensive patient assessments, recovery status, and discharge planning accurately and thoroughly
- Communicate pertinent clinical information to the interdisciplinary care team
- Support charge nurse duties and demonstrate leadership when assigned
- Serve as a resource for patient care, orientation, and staff teaching
- Maintain proficiency with computerized nursing informatics systems
- Participate in staff meetings, required education, and quality improvement activities
- Follow all safety, blood/body fluid, and regulatory policies and procedures
- Deliver excellent service to patients, families, visitors, volunteers, and coworkers
- Maintain confidentiality and represent the care team professionally
