Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience required
• Recent Med/Surg Telemetry or medical-surgical nursing experience strongly preferred
• Active RN license in the practicing state
• Ability to monitor, assess, and document patient status accurately
• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital nursing environment

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and document care accurately and thoroughly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Maintain a safe, compassionate, and professional care environment throughout each shift
