• Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Shifts Per Week: 5
• Shift Duration: 8 hours
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,070 - $2,180
• Call Requirement: Nights, weekends, and holidays; typically 1 night per week
• Weekend Coverage: 2-3 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Charting System: Meditech
• Staffing Ratio: 1:1

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 3 years of main hospital experience
• Operating Room or perioperative nursing experience strongly preferred
• Meditech charting experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Ability to care for adolescent, infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Must have required license and certifications in hand at time of submission

Responsibilities

• Assess each patient immediately upon admission to the Operating Room
• Reassess patients throughout the intraoperative period and identify ongoing needs
• Develop individualized nursing care plans that support patient safety and positive outcomes
• Coordinate care across a wide range of surgical procedures, including general, orthopedic, gynecologic, urologic, thoracic, and robotic cases
• Maintain a safe surgical environment by following universal protocol, infection control, and specimen handling standards
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the broader perioperative team
• Support efficient room turnover and high-quality intraoperative workflow
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced OR setting
