Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• ACLS required prior to start
• Cerner experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, patient-centered care to adult medical-surgical patients in an acute-care hospital setting
• Assess patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status
• Administer medications and carry out physician orders accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other care team members to support positive outcomes
• Document care thoroughly and maintain accurate clinical records in the EMR
• Prioritize tasks effectively in a busy inpatient environment
• Promote a positive, professional patient experience through compassionate care
