Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience preferred
• Active Texas RN license or compact RN license in good standing
• BLS certification required
• Strong background in general OR cases, with orthopedic experience highly valued
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical services environment with strong attention to detail
• Experience with Meditech or similar EMR systems is helpful

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in the operating room
• Support a variety of surgical cases, including orthopedics, spine, neuro, vascular, general surgery, bariatrics, robotics, and urology
• Maintain readiness for 1:1 patient care and collaborate closely with the surgical team
• Assist with circulating and other OR nursing duties as assigned
• Contribute to efficient room turnover and smooth workflow throughout the day
• Participate in one weekday call shift per week as scheduled
• Deliver professional, patient-centered care while maintaining a positive team environment
