Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
- Telemetry nursing experience required
- ACLS certification required
- Ability to manage up to a 1:6 patient ratio
- Experience with travel nursing preferred
- Comfortable floating to other units as needed, including IMC and ED
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
- Compassionate, positive, and team-oriented mindset
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Monitor telemetry patients and respond to changes in condition promptly
- Care for patients with surgical, cardiac, and complex medical diagnoses
- Manage a typical patient load of up to 6 patients
- Support patients with conditions such as CHF, CKD, alcohol withdrawal, SIRS, and GI bleeding
- Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver safe, effective patient care
- Float to other hospital units when needed to support patient care needs
- Maintain professional documentation and uphold unit standards
