• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Shift Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,950 - $2,060
• Call Requirements: Yes
• Float Requirements: May float to Intermediate Care and ED Holding as needed
• Patient Population: Adult and geriatric patients

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ICU or CVICU experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Active RN license in good standing
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke certification
• Strong critical care assessment, prioritization, and clinical decision-making skills
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital environment

Responsibilities

• Provide expert bedside care for ICU and CVICU patients with complex cardiac, respiratory, neurologic, and traumatic conditions
• Monitor and manage patients with diagnoses such as STEMI, NSTEMI, sepsis, COPD exacerbation, stroke, trauma, CABG, and valve repair or replacement
• Deliver safe, timely nursing interventions while maintaining a typical 1:2 patient ratio
• Collaborate closely with physicians, charge nurses, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
• Respond effectively to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record and follow unit protocols
• Support unit needs by floating to Intermediate Care or ED Holding as assigned
• Maintain professionalism, reliability, and strong communication throughout the travel nursing assignment
