• Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Every other weekend and holidays in rotation
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,620 - $1,700
• Setting: High-acuity mixed ICU with cardiovascular and neuro patient care
• Electronic Medical Record: Meditech

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 3 years of RN experience, including at least 1 year in an ICU setting
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience with Meditech preferred
• Ability to care for 1-3 ICU patients and manage ventilated patients
• Strong telemetry interpretation and critical care assessment skills
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
• BSN preferred
• TNCC and advanced certifications preferred
• Comfort with bedside shift report and a collaborative team-based workflow

Responsibilities

• Provide expert bedside care for critically ill ICU patients with varying levels of acuity
• Monitor and manage patients on ventilators and advanced cardiac support devices
• Care for post-op CABG patients, Impellas, balloon pumps, Swan-Ganz lines, and advanced hemodynamic monitoring cases
• Support neuro ICU patients, including those with aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage, EVDs, bolts, and induced hypothermia therapy
• Perform bedside shift report during every handoff to support safe, seamless transitions of care
• Administer breathing treatments and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support respiratory needs
• Float as needed to support ICU or step-down level patients based on facility needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit protocols and patient safety standards
• Contribute to a supportive, high-performing critical care team focused on excellent patient outcomes
