Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in the applicable state or compact license in hand at submission
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, ideally in infusion nursing or outpatient care
• BLS certification required
• Strong experience with IV therapy, central lines, PICC line care, and port management
• Ability to administer medications and fluids safely and accurately
• Comfortable responding to infusion reactions and other urgent clinical situations
• Experience supporting patients with oncology, MS, GI, neuro, transplant, and obstetric-related needs is highly valued
• Must be able to work 3 of the 5 major holidays if required by the assignment
• References required during compliance review prior to start

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in an ambulatory infusion center and outpatient clinic environment
• Prepare, administer, and monitor infusion therapies for a diverse adult patient population
• Assess patients for adverse reactions and respond quickly to infusion-related emergencies
• Manage IVs, ports, central lines, and PICC lines with strong attention to safety and infection prevention
• Support medication administration including iron, biologics, fluids, and therapies for MS, GI, neuro, and transplant conditions
• Deliver compassionate patient care while maintaining efficient flow in a busy Seattle healthcare setting
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical support staff to ensure excellent patient experiences and smooth daily operations
• Complete required orientation and pre-start learning modules on schedule
