Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,970 - $2,080
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
• Setting: Emergency Department / Emergency Room
• Location: Laconia, New Hampshire (NH) – central New Hampshire in the scenic Lakes Region
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Schedule: Weekdays with every other weekend; 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Floating: May float to stepdown, medical-surgical units, and the behavioral health annex as needed

Job Requirements

• Active New Hampshire RN license or compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience preferred; strong independent practice skills may be considered
• Strong Med-Surg and PCU experience, including cardiac drip experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to work quickly, independently, and confidently in a high-acuity emergency care setting
• Cerner experience preferred
• Resume, skills checklist, license verification, and requested time off details must be provided at submission

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a busy Emergency Department
• Manage ED boarder assignments and support MS/PCU admit holds
• Monitor and care for patients with cardiac drips and other complex, acute needs
• Deliver safe, efficient care in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment
• Float to stepdown, medical-surgical, and behavioral health areas when needed
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to improve patient flow and outcomes
