• Schedule Style: Self-scheduling with weekend coverage required

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• At least 1 year of nursing experience
• Experience in ICU, PCU, telemetry, or stepdown nursing preferred
• ACLS and BLS required
• Experience with Cerner preferred
• Ability to manage high-acuity patients and changing patient assignments
• Strong skills in cardiac monitoring, critical care interventions, and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Available to work nights and provide weekend coverage

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality care to MS/Tele, PCU, and critical care patients
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Manage common critical care needs including cardiac drips, oxygen therapy, blood product administration, and arterial line care
• Support patients with diagnoses such as Afib RVR, post-PCI, TAVR, COPD/asthma exacerbations, DKA, renal failure, and post-cardiac procedures
• Float to critical care or med-surg/tele areas when census is low
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response, and other interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards at all times
