Job Details

• Position: Labor & Delivery / Obstetrics Registered Nurse (L&D RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Location: Anaconda, MT 59711
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Hours per Week: 36-48 hours
• Shift Length: 12-hour shifts
• Shift Pattern: Primarily nights with occasional day coverage
• Shifts per Week: Up to 4 shifts per week unless otherwise agreed
• Call Requirements: 6-8 call shifts per 6-week period

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery, OB, and Postpartum nursing experience
• Current Montana RN license or compact RN license eligible for practice in Montana
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• Intermediate AWHONN certification required
• Strong clinical judgment and confidence in an obstetric nursing environment
• Ability to adapt to night shifts, call coverage, and occasional day shift coverage

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to patients in Labor & Delivery, Obstetrics, and Postpartum units
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Support laboring patients, deliveries, and postpartum recovery with compassionate bedside care
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, patient-centered care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established hospital protocols and procedures
• Respond to call coverage needs and assist with occasional day shift coverage as needed
• Promote a calm, reassuring, and supportive environment for patients and families
