• Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,620 - $2,760
• Schedule Notes: No on-call requirement; no holiday requirement
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Charting System: Epic
• Special Procedures: Level I Trauma, craniotomy, orthopedic fractures, cardiac, liver transplant, and spinal cases

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room experience
• BLS certification required
• Level I Trauma certification required
• Experience with scrub and circulate responsibilities required
• Previous charge nurse experience required
• Experience with cardiac, liver transplant, craniotomies, and spinal cases
• Experience with orthopedics and fracture cases is a plus
• Must be comfortable floating between surgical service areas as needed
• Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and adaptability in a high-acuity OR environment

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care in a busy Operating Room setting
• Scrub and circulate for a variety of complex surgical procedures
• Support Level I Trauma cases and high-acuity surgical patients
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and the broader perioperative team
• Maintain safe, efficient, and patient-centered surgical workflows
• Float between assigned surgical areas and adapt to changing case needs
• Accurately document care and procedures in Epic
• Contribute to a positive team environment while maintaining excellent patient care standards
