• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 nights based on traveler preference
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,640 - $1,730
• Hours per Week: 36
• Orientation: 28 hours
• Setting: Medical-surgical telemetry unit
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics

Job Requirements

• Active Alabama RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of recent registered nurse experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Experience working in large healthcare facilities preferred
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Strong med/surg telemetry experience required
• Proficiency with IV drips including Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone
• Ability to work night shifts and support weekend coverage
• Traveler must live at least 90 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality bedside nursing care for adult and geriatric telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry changes
• Administer and manage IV drips and other ordered treatments
• Maintain safe patient care within ratios of up to 1:6-7
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver coordinated patient care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
• Support a fast-paced med/surg environment while promoting patient safety and teamwork
