Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience required
• Recent Med/Surg Tele or medical-surgical telemetry experience preferred
• Active RN license in the state of practice
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in an acute care setting
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical telemetry unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and cardiac rhythms
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care team members to support safe patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record
• Respond appropriately to changes in patient status and escalate care when needed
