Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
• Current AHA BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification or equivalent competency
• Strong clinical judgment and confidence in a high-acuity emergency care environment
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and participate in holiday rotation as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate emergency nursing care across a wide range of patient acuities
• Complete rapid assessments, prioritize care, and respond to changes in patient condition quickly and accurately
• Administer medications and treatments according to emergency department protocols and standards
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support timely patient care decisions
• Monitor patient progress, document care accurately, and communicate updates clearly to the care team
• Help maintain a calm, organized, and patient-centered environment during busy ED volumes
• Be prepared to care for both pediatric and adult patients in the emergency setting
