Job Requirements

  • Current Montana Registered Nurse licensure or eligibility
  • Minimum of 1 year of NICU, Labor & Delivery, Emergency Department, or Intensive Care experience
  • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Provider certification
  • STABLE certification
  • Ability to work varied shifts in a fast-paced neonatal care environment
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Must live at least 90 miles away from the facility to qualify for consideration

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive neonatal patient assessments and identify priority needs
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
  • Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to NICU patients
  • Support patient and family education with professionalism and compassion
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
  • Promote a safe environment and evidence-based nursing practice
  • Maintain competency in relevant policies, procedures, and required education
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented neonatal care environment
