Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent nursing experience required
• Experience in cardiac stepdown, telemetry, progressive care, or similar acute care settings preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient monitoring skills
• Ability to provide safe, compassionate care in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients with cardiac conditions and complex post-procedure needs in a stepdown setting
• Perform ongoing assessments and respond quickly to changes in patient status
• Administer medications and treatments according to care plans and best practices
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on recovery, symptom reporting, discharge readiness, and cardiac care instructions
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high standards of patient safety and quality care
