• Setting: 48-bed Med/Surg unit

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical assessment skills
• Experience in a fast-paced acute care or medical-surgical unit preferred
• Comfort with Meditech documentation preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg patients with a focus on safety, comfort, and positive outcomes
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status
• Perform common unit procedures including wound care, I/O catheterization, and trach care
• Collaborate with physicians, support staff, and the care team to ensure excellent patient flow and coordination
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record
• Support a culture of teamwork, communication, and shared accountability
• Float as needed based on unit and facility needs
