Job Requirements

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• At least 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
• Experience in adult medical-surgical nursing, hospital nursing, or acute care preferred
• Comfort working in a blended unit with varied patient acuity, including swing bed and occasional progressive care needs
• Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients
• Support a mixed-acuity unit that may include swing bed and progressive care patients
• Balance assignments based on workload and patient need
• Collaborate closely with supervisors and unit staff to promote safe, efficient care
• Document patient care accurately and maintain high clinical standards
• Contribute to a positive, engaged team environment focused on quality outcomes
